It's more than a tea room; in fact we’re already getting a reputation for our coffee too!

Our teapots do actually pour properly and all our food is freshly prepared for you using quality local Cumbrian produce wherever possible. Furnished with contemporary and relaxed styling, creating an up-to-date ambience, we still pride ourselves on good old fashioned service values.

Take a look at the menu and you'll get the idea; homemade cakes of every description, light lunches, soups, salads and sandwiches and some of the very best hot dishes.

Favourites are the fish & chips with a Geltsdale beer batter and homemade Tartar sauce, the ever popular ‘Chicken in a Basket’ (remember this the first time around?) and of course our Homemade Burger made with Hallsford steak mince.

Bacon, Lanercost Cumberland Sausage, fried egg, baked beans, fried bread and tomato and served with toast.

We don't serve "fast food"...we serve good food as fast as we can!
